President & Chief Executive Officer
Mollie Ewing, MPH
Mollie grew up on a farm in Vincennes, Indiana, where her early experiences shaped her strong work ethic and commitment to community. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience, laying the foundation for her deep interest in mental health and human behavior.
​
Mollie joined CFS early in her career as a Prevention Specialist, where she spent several years working on program development. Her time in this role allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the needs within the behavioral health space and to contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of the organization.
​
After earning her Master’s degree from Columbia University, Mollie returned to CFS with a broader vision and a refined skill set. In October 2020, she was named Chief Executive Officer.
As CEO, Mollie draws upon her expertise in grant writing and her passion for creating sustainable, impactful programs. She focuses on building the structures necessary to pilot progressive interventions across the behavioral health and criminal justice sectors.

In addition to her leadership at CFS, Mollie serves as a strategic advisor with Olam Consulting, supporting mission-driven organizations by designing meaningful programs, grant development, and achieving organizational accreditation.
​
Mollie is dedicated to advancing CFS’s mission by ensuring that the organization’s programs are innovative, evidence-based, and responsive to the evolving needs of the communities it serves. Under her leadership, CFS continues to expand its reach and impact, providing critical services to individuals and families facing complex challenges.

Chief Operating Officer
Emma Lett, MBA
Emma brings a strong foundation in social work, business management, and nonprofit operations to her role at CFS, Corp. A Greenwood, Indiana native, she earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana and is currently pursuing her Master of Legal Studies through the University of Cincinnati to deepen her knowledge of compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks.

At CFS, Emma has led a variety of key operational initiatives, from refining internal systems and strengthening payor relationships to developing policies and procedures that align with state and federal regulations. Since May 2023, her leadership in compliance and policy design has helped CFS maintain accreditation standards and ensure consistent adherence to evolving legislative requirements.
​
Beyond her leadership at CFS, Emma provides consulting services through Olam Consulting, where she partners with mission driven organizations to strengthen compliance practices, build effective governance structures, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
​
Emma is known for her practical, solution-oriented approach to policy creation and organizational problem-solving. Her leadership style centers on collaboration, transparency, and accountability, values that help create strong teams and lasting community impact.
​
Emma is passionate about building systems that allow mission-driven organizations to operate with integrity and efficiency. She believes that strong compliance practices and thoughtful policy design are essential to helping CFS, and the communities it serves, thrive.

Clinical Director
Dr. Elizabeth Meeks, DSW, LCSW, CADAC II
Liz is a retired athlete who had the unique opportunity to turn her passion for basketball into a career, playing professionally until 2016.
During her athletic career, she was able to complete most of her Master of Social Work (MSW) coursework in Germany, balancing her studies with the demands of playing the game she loved.
After transitioning from professional sports, Liz continued her academic journey and earned a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree from Barry University.
With a strong focus on trauma-informed care, Liz specializes in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention, sand tray therapy, EMDR, expressive arts, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), suicide prevention (QPR), and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). She is also experienced in substance use and recovery interventions.

Liz is passionate about helping individuals navigate and heal from trauma, offering a comprehensive, holistic approach to therapy that empowers clients to achieve lasting positive change.

Health Services & Hope's Voice Director
Laci Thornton, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Laci started her career as a nursing assistant while still in high school. She worked her way up the nursing ranks and during the same time became a proud mother to her two children, Hayden and Korbin. She received her master’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she graduated with honors while working full-time.
​
At CFS, Laci was an integral part of the team that led our company to Joint Commission accreditation – and has developed all integrated healthcare services to date with the implementation of a wellness team. She has supported CFS’s mission and vision by expanding the health services delivered to all the youth we have served. Researching what is needed for the future of healthcare and teaching others is all in a day’s work for Laci. She has a strong passion for teaching others and strives to make a positive impact on those around her.
​
As a family nurse practitioner, Laci delivers care with empathy, integrity, and advocacy in the forefront of her mind! Although Laci is able to prescribe medication as a viable option, she encourages the holistic approach of listening and educating her patients on alternatives before resorting to medication. Laci is a firm believer that her patients need to understand why they are taking medication, and she discusses with them how they feel about their personalized treatment plan.

Community Impact Director
McKenzie Young, BA
McKenzie was born in Wyoming but grew up in Vincennes, Indiana, where she graduated from Lincoln High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University, marking the beginning of her career in social work.
​
In the spring of 2009, McKenzie and her now-husband moved to Washington County, Pennsylvania, where they lived for nine years. During this time, they got married, had their daughter, and McKenzie embraced her role as a stay-at-home mom.
​
In April 2018, McKenzie and her family returned to Vincennes to be closer to family. She dedicated much of her time volunteering at her daughter’s school and within the local community.
In 2021, McKenzie re-entered the workforce and joined CFS, Corp. in 2022, where she is now focused on developing community-driven projects and programs.
​
McKenzie is also pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Murray State University, with plans to graduate in December 2025. She is passionate about building initiatives that positively impact the community where she was raised and where she is now raising her daughter.

Advocacy Director
Laura Jimenez, MBA
Laura grew up in Bicknell, Indiana, and has always been deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community.
She began her academic journey by earning an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Vincennes University, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding developmental and educational needs.
Motivated to expand her career opportunities, Laura went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University, combining her passion for service with the skills needed to lead and manage projects effectively.
​
Over the course of 16 years at Good Samaritan Hospital, Laura held various positions, where she grew her expertise in project development, team leadership, and program management. Throughout her career, she discovered her passion for supporting individuals in recovery, particularly within the peer recovery workforce. This interest led her to focus on building and elevating recovery services that empower individuals to reclaim and improve their lives.
​
In 2024, Laura joined CFS, Corp. with a clear mission: to expand and enhance peer recovery services across Knox County. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive, compassionate environment for those in recovery and believes that peer-led services play a vital role in long-term success and healing. Laura is passionate about working alongside the recovery community to increase access to resources, support networks, and opportunities for growth and recovery.

Her unique combination of healthcare experience, business acumen, and commitment to the recovery community makes her an invaluable addition to the CFS team. Laura is excited to continue working toward creating positive, lasting change for individuals and their families.
